Together with the Hamburg Port Authority, Themis Foresight CEO Jan Berger authored an article on how ports will need to evolve in light of technological, societal and economic influences.

“Ports will have to change and become greener to meet the challenges of the future. What is needed are innovative ideas and the use of smart technologies to offer the global economy secure supply chains that are not disrupted by the effects of climate change or unforeseen events. When looking for solutions, issues of security and ethics, among others, must be considered. The article presents potential solutions from the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) for the port city of Hamburg,” the authors write.
